[Review] Vital Energy (Acai – Blueberry)
Vital Energy has already proven itself as a competent brand to me once before in the form of their Tangerine flavored drink. It was a surprisingly solid beverage that, despite being an energy water, packed one hell of a punch. Now I’m looking at Acai-Blueberry, another flavor in the powerful line of products that has a flavor that sounds like it’s just about perfect for me.
Straight from the bottle:
In a world of ordinary why not drink the Extraodinary. Extracaffeine, Extravitamins, Extrasexy, cause that’s how I’ll make you feel.
Get up and go.
I love that product description!
Review:
Blueberry and Acai juices are two of my favorite things to drink. Not only are they delicious, but they are both naturally packed full of antioxidants, which help keep my body fresh and sexy. Not so much sexy, but fresh none-the-less. Anyway, I didn’t really have high expectations for this drink holding accurate traits to either juice, because it’s an energy water. But when I removed the bottle and leaned in for that first whiff I was surprised at what I had found. A prominent blueberry aroma, sweet and full, sitting atop of the acai berry, perfectly complimenting each other in an excellent balance. Delicious.
The flavor, while not as impressive, is still a delightfully unexpected treat. It’s sweet yet crisp, largely mild and a bit diluted making it highly refreshing. The vitamin and caffeine flavors are present, though they are hidden well beneath the fruity flavor that makes up the drink’s composition. It’s easy to chug and even easier to enjoy, and it sits light on the stomach making it a perfect companion for an evening bike ride.
Vital Energy has already proven itself in terms of kick, so I didn’t feel the need to test it with some sort of physically demanding activity. Instead I slowly sipped the drink, making it last about two hours and savoring every minute of the awesome burst of energy. I felt focused, excited, and energized while, at the same time, being able to relax and let loose. It’s a truly amazing feat to accomplish, especially considering the bare list of ingredients – taurine and caffeine being the only “traditional” energy drink ingredients, along with B vitamins.
Vital Energy sells for about two dollars per bottle when you get the 24 pack from the Vital Energy Online Store. Each bottle is 20oz and holds 2.5 servings, putting it below industry standard costs for traditional energy drinks. Not only is that a value in and of itself, but the quality of the product is high enough to win it some points in value as well.
Final Words:
Vital Energy’s Acai-Blueberry flavor is truly a knock out drink. It’s a great flavor choice, is highly refreshing, and packs an almost unprecedented punch. Great for working out or exercising, but also good for gaming or student life. Vital Energy is a drink I highly recommend to anyone looking for energy.

Great review. A quick note that they are between $1.50 and $1.75 at convience stores around the Rochester NY area. They are a favored drink for this guy! BLUEBERRY AND ACAI all the way! I love the fact that you don’t crash after drinking it like you do with many carbonated energy drinks.
