[Review] Drank: Extreme Relaxation Beverage
A while back I reviewed something called the Mini Chill Relaxation Shot, which I granted a very high score of 9.0/10 partially because of its refreshing taste, appetizing aroma, and fair value. The thing that really won the product such a positive review was the fantastic way it makes you feel. You see, as the name implies, Mini Chill is a Relaxation Shot, meaning it makes you relax.
Think of Drank as the beverage form of Mini Chill. It’s a 16 oz. drink that’ll make you slow down, relax, and feel super awesome. It’s time to buy yoself a Drank.
Review
Popping the top of my first can, I was immediately hit with an unbelievably sweet aroma. It was appealing, sweet, and, all things said, a bit ghetto. It smells a lot like grape soda, and, for whatever reason, I’ve associated grape soda with da ‘hood. While it does smell great, I admit I am not a very big fan of grape soda, for various reasons (primarily because it tastes like shit), so at this point I was getting a bit worried that I may not like Drank as much as I had hoped I would.
Those worries quickly subside when I lifted the purple can to my lips and poured the sweet purple substance into my mouth. While comparable to grape soda, it is much sweeter, more refreshing, and much softer. It’s a really appealing flavor that is very unique. The only real complaint I have about the drink is that it has a very heavy texture that doesn’t feel very good in your stomach if you’re outside in even mild heat.
The most important trait of an anti-energy drink is the exact same as it is with an energy drink — its effectiveness. And Drank makes you feel damn good. Sipping on the purple can yields results in about 20 minutes, and lasts for all of three to four hours. I felt excellent, laid back, relaxed. But not drowsy. In fact, I had my first can right before visiting the Nashville Zoo, and was able to walk around and enjoy the simulated wildlife environment with my super beautiful girlfriend, only in a more laid back and carefree manner than I would have otherwise. After it finally tapered off it left no lasting effects, and I just felt completely normal again.
Drank: Extreme Relaxation Beverage is $1.99 for a 16 oz, double serving can, which is the industry standard for energy drinks. So why shouldn’t it be for anti-energy drinks? And the fact that it tastes great and works exceptionally well makes it that much more worth it.
Final Words
I highly recommend trying Drank, if you haven’t already. It’s been on the market for a while, but a lot of you have probably walked right passed it in the gas station without paying it much attention. Others have probably not been lucky enough to have it stocked in your small town. I fell into the latter category, and never came across the stuff until I saw it in a gas station, by chance, in Nashville, Tennessee. It tastes great, works great, and is a great value for what you’re getting. Buy Drank.
